Pilates Mat Classes

With regular practice, you’ll gain improved posture, better coordination and balance, increased lung capacity, and improved concentration and focus. You’ll also gain increased body awareness, and learn methods to help with stress management and injury prevention.

Pilates Mat Classes

I have been running Pilates classes in Olney since 2006. I feel very privileged to have worked with some wonderful ladies over this time and still get as much joy and pleasure in seeing them all get stronger week by week.

I work with a maximum of 12 people in each class and typically blocks of six weeks. We will never repeat the same program twice and we use a variety of small equipment each week to help us with our practice. We also work on goals to achieve in each block and I will set your homework as well!

Each class I run has different levels of experience. If you have practised Pilates before we can have a talk and you can come and try a free class to see what you think. If you are new to Pilates I do run a beginner’s block or you can come and see me on a one-to-one basis to give you enough knowledge and get you ready to join an existing class.

I am passionate about my Pilates practice and still have a weekly Pilates session myself in which I push my body and my mind to the maximum. I firmly believe that Pilates is something that everybody should do to keep their body strong for daily life and help with any other physical demands your place on your body
