The 3rd age as it is called can be a reawakening
We have so much knowledge at this time of our life and life starts to take a different path. So many life events happen, your children start making their own way in life, your older family members need you in different ways, grandchildren might be appearing, and it could be time to focus on your career differently … Then your body starts to tell you things. We all go through this stage of our life differently. One thing that has been researched, studied and proved is that exercise is a key player.
I am qualified as a Menopause coach and have worked with many women since and love the results we get. Just one form of exercise is not enough which is why I firmly believe in a fusion of movement applications from Pilates to strength training. Your body will show me where I need to work and focus.
The stages of menopause for peri to post bring up different areas to work on. There are different considerations to be made while training but without a doubt we need to embrace this time of our lives.
